DANCE FOR FITNESS
CLASS
If you have been fed up with aerobic classes
you will enjoy these as a complete mix of dances are taught and
each is an excellent workout. In each of the classes, the dances do
get progressively harder as you learn more, so you won't be bored.
Our Dance for fitness classes are open to everyone over age
16yrs. The sessions have been specifically designed to help
you to keep fit (or get fit). They are a fun and modern
alternative to aerobics.
These are great classes for you to keep or
get fit. In these classes we start you off with a few
easy ‘warm up’ dance routines. These are quite easy and
quick to learn and are performed to get your muscles warm and
gently ease you into the more exciting dance routines.
The idea is to teach you dance routines to
specific pieces of music instead of the repetitive features of an
aerobics class. The dance routines range from being simple
and short to more strenuous and lengthy. You will progress
naturally into the latter and you can always choose to opt out of
routines you don't feel are right for you.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Trainers, jazz shoes or dance sneakers for
your feet. Track suit bottoms, jog bottoms and t-shirts or tops and sweat jacket or
cardigan etc. for your body. This is not a fashion
show class – we don’t wear matching lycra outfits
– you wear what you feel comfortable in and so do we!
PRICE:
£6.50 plus your Membership fee of £5.00
(or £6.00 if you are a Lifetime Member) Or you can do
these as a 6-week course, which works out a little
cheaper.
